Workstation

If you have several workstation computers throughout your organization then you would benefit from GREENFIR's workstation virtualization solution. We are able to provide several workstations at a fraction of the cost of physical computers at each workstation.

Pano DeviceGREENFIR uses a product known as PanoLogic to virtualize your workstations. This small device contains no CPU, no Memory, no HardDrive, no Operating system, and no Drivers. It is a simple, solid state unit containing a few USB slots, an Ethernet port and a pair of speaker ports. It's small; the kleenex box on your desk is likely bigger!

How does it work?

The Pano box talks back to a central server which hosts a virtual machine for each Pano device. Your Pano box links to that virtual machine and you have your workstation wherever you need it. The Pano unit uses the server's hardware to run your operating system and store all your files. Not having any physical hardware is a positive step for your organization. No hardware means that you don't require an IT technician to come and visit each workstation if you are having a problem. GREENFIR can simply troubleshoot the problem remotely. If you are having major problems, we can delete and rebuild your computer in less than 30 minutes! The lack of physical hardware also means that when you upgrade your server every workstation in the building gets upgraded too!

The Pano box is perfect for organizations that have several "average" workstation users, (Graphic/Processor heavy users still benefit from having a physical machine.)
